This depends on the size of your project, we are a large and flexible builder and can try and accommodate your needs.
What is a design and build company?
This is a builder that can take a project from an idea and help you design, get planning permission and build, manage and complete the whole project for you- like Touchstone Builders.
Can you do my Loft conversion as well as my home extension?
Yes we are a leading Loft conversion specialist.
Do I need to go to an architect before I call you?
No we offer a full architectural service.
Most our works start at around £50,000 up to some works we usually do from £150,000 to £500,000.
Can you completely renovate my home?
Yes we can completely renovate your home back to original brickworks.
The initial discussions are free but we do charge for designs.

What insurances and guarantees do you offer?
We offer a full 10 year structure guarantee and we are fully insured whilst working on your home.
Yes we are a Gas registered plumber and have all the expertise for all types of plumbing.
Can you renew my heating system?
Yes we have all the expertise to renew or replace all heating systems including water based underfloor heating.
Can I still live in the property?
This depends on the size of the project. In most cases moving out is the best option especially if you are extending the kitchen, loft conversions do not normally require you to move out.
Do I need a party wall agreement?
If the works are within 1m from your neighbours property a party wall agreement is required.
What is the level of disruption?
This depends on the size of the project, loft conversions are less disruptive.
Again dependant on size of project, loft conversions can be done in 8-10 weeks and extensions 3-4 months whilst renovations can take 6-9 months depending on size.

Is my home in a Designated area?
You will need to check with your planning department, Conservation areas, grade 1 and 2 listed and “Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty” are examples of designated areas.
How long is my quote valid for?
Usually around 3 months.
